Description:
I spent five years working on various King Soopers, City Market, Metro Markets, & Mariano grocery store remodels, including one ground up design in Carbondale, CO. I served as head of the Starbucks remodels for the King Soopers and City Market grocery stores within Colorado, and then later served as the head of the Wisconsin and Illinois remodel Metro Market and Mariano divisions.
I gained a vast amount of experience learning the different permit submittal requirements for jurisdictions all over Colorado, including their local health departments and fire departments. I also developed expertise in the requirements for food service and processing facilities, including refrigeration design. I performed on site detailed field investigations for every store I project managed, including roof surveys and detailed equipment inventory. I worked closely with Kroger project managers and the Kroger design standards and Direct Buy system.
A few of the notable large scale remodel projects I worked on included: King Soopers #75 (Parker, CO), King Soopers #115 (Denver, CO), King Soopers #83 (Denver, CO), King Soopers #64 (Evergreen, CO), King Soopers #119 (Colorado Springs, CO), King Soopers #16 (Centennial, CO), King Soopers #20 (Wheatridge, CO) City Market #410 (Moab, UT), Metro Market #371 (Milwaukee, WI), Metro Market #431 (Madison, WI), Mariano’s #515 (Chicago, IL)
