MATERIALS: 100% WOOL FELT & ORGANIC COTTEN THREAD

Undulations design is a reaction to wave of modern day sustainabilitys attachment to technology. It roots itself into the world of craft and ecology; from the antiquated process of felting to the simplicity of the running stitch. Each undulation is formed from the gathering of over thirty feet of felt sewn every inch for forty lines that occur every two inches. The project originally began as a light fixture, but after a few too many sparks it evolved into a 5’x7’ undulating rug.
