2011 - Professional Practice

The Professional Practice class I took allowed me to take a peak into the entrepreneurial workings behind an architectural firm. Not only did I create a business plan and marketing strategy for a proposed architectural firm, I put together a financial plan with revenue projections, overhead expense budgets, staff planning spreadsheets and a profit plan for this proposed firm. This class was a great way to learn the inner workings of small businesses, a side you rarely see as an intern architect. I am all the more excited to be involved in every aspect of a small business now.
