Project Description:

This newly renovated community center features a multi-use sport court, climbing wall, a fitness area, game room, computer lab, social gathering space, snack area, community meeting / conference rooms, staff offices, restroom expansion and maintenance storage areas. These new amenities not only update an older facility but turn it into a recreation destination for the whole community to enjoy. During construction contaminated soils under an existing slab were found, which created a unique design dilemma. The creative, cost conscious solution was to build up a raised, aerated slab to air out any contaminates.
